audio interviews linked

I’ve been playing promoter for the book. There are now quite a few Podcast interviews where I talk about The Messengers. Here is an ongoing list from the last month. Be careful and don’t try to listen to all of these, you’ll end up hearing me telling a bunch of the same things over and over. I try to mix it up a bit, but I end up answering the same questions.

This list is in random order.

      1.  The Richard Dolan Show with Richard Dolan

      2.  Dreamland with Whitley Strieber - requires membership

      3.  The Paracast with Gene and Chris

      4.  Cosmic Passport with Elizabeth Anglin

      5.  Becoming a Cozmic Citizen with Don Daniels

      6.  UFO Podcast with Martin Willis

      7.  Radio Mysterioso with Greg Bishop

      8.  Grimerica with Red Pill Junkie (and crew)

      9.  Phantoms and Mosters with Lon Strickler

      10. UFO Audit with Erica Lukes

      11. Conspiritorium Podcast with Adam Sayne

      12. Veritas with Mel Fabregas

      13. Freeman with Freeman Fly

      14. Fade to Black with Jimmy Church

      15. Into the Fray with Ryan Sprague

      16. Binnall of America with Tim Binnall

      17. Where Did the Road Go with Seriah Azkat

Great interviews! In one of them you mentioned having completed a chapter on the amazing characteristics, and interesting facts about owls that was not included in the book because it was off topic or maybe too Scientific American-ish for the target audience. I would love to read it if you could post a link. Thanks!

Thank you Mike, I remember seeing that link.

Now I have to share what happened to me just a short while ago - this evening - after I finished the first part of the chapter, which I am reading very slowly because I find it so fascinating.

I'll start by saying that I've never seen an owl, and for the last year and 1/2 since moving to Oregon, have been trying very hard to see one. So this evening before sunset, inspired by the first part of your chapter on Owl physiology, I hopped in the car and drove to a nature center on the side of a mountain ten minutes away and walked to a spot where I often hear an owl hooting, if I stop in one spot and stand very still. Tonight I heard nothing there, so I walked to my favorite spot further down the trail where there is a very pretty clearing surrounded by small oaks and then tall pines and conifers. It's a curious patch with a magical feel and there is a story about it.

The sun had just set but there was still light in the sky and as I stood quietly I began to hear the owl hooting very softly. Then I thought I heard a second owl, not sure, it may have been an echo. It began to feel like all the other times I hear something and never see anything, and while standing there a familiar train of thought started winding around in my head about being an experiencer or wanting to feel special, contemplating a particular childhood event, and right in the middle of this dialogue, an owl flew out of the pines and landed smack onto a branch of the tree next to me. When I first saw him/her against the sky I thought he would fly over me across the clearing, and as he landed on a branch not more than 20 feet away I couldn't believe it and indeed immediately felt special :)

I just stared at him. It had begun to rain but I just stood there feeling so grateful. He may have been about a foot tall (after seeing that wing span I remember thinking he looked small) and had those adorable llittle ear tufts that he kept moving up and down. He would give me his profile, move the tufts up and down, then look directly at me and do the same thing. I have no idea what that was about. Did he think I was a predator? Maybe he was so tired of me constantly marching around looking for him that he decided to just stand in front of me on a branch for a few minutes. After maybe five minutes he/she flew into the pines along the trail where I followed on my way back to my car, but I didn't see him again.

Anyway it was a very special moment and I had to share it with you since it happened literally within an hour of reading your chapter, which I will now finish reading. Thank you for your research, and all of your very valuable work.

Reply to T-M.

Well, there you have it. Not sure where you are in the book, but I have received a LOT of letters nearly exactly like yours. I agree, this is something VERY special. And this is somehow playing out all over the world with the book. I am simply humbled. It is powerful for me to have created all the right elements for this to unfold like it has been.

You'll get to a chapter where I list a LOT of accounts like yours!

Peace to you,
Mike C

Thanks for posting these links. So far I've only heard the Veritas interview and it was fantastic. I will be checking out more of them. Congrats on finishing the book, can't wait to read it.
