Richard Dolan has just published the big owl book project through his own publishing company. He has also been a unwavering supporter of this rather unconventional work. Any author will go through pangs of insecurity, and Rich has been there to encourage me to trust what I have tried to create. He also wrote the foreword to the book, and this is posted in its entirety below.

Foreword to The Messengers

You are about to read one of the most original books ever written on UFOs, one that will make any thoughtful person ask fundamental questions about the nature of reality itself. More than any work in recent memory, it successfully ties the UFO phenomenon not simply to possible extraterrestrial intelligences, but to synchronicities, ancient archetypes, dreams, shamanistic experiences, magic, personal transformation, and death. 

And owls. Because Mike Clelland has gathered together compelling and persuasive accounts from innumerable people who have had UFO sightings and apparent abduction experiences in conjunction with absolutely bizarre experiences with owls. Yes, real owls, not owls as screen memories of something else (although as anyone familiar with abduction research knows, this has been reported from time to time). 

The accounts of these people -- including those of Mike himself -- suggest undeniable synchronicities at work. That is, coincidences that are highly meaningful to the persons involved. So meaningful in some cases that they seem staged for that person, and usually in a manner that only that person could decipher.

This is heady stuff for those of us raised in the standard western-based materialistic rendition of reality, one with a comprehensible cause and effect, and one in which there are no unseen intelligences at work playing us like characters in a video game. And yet, as one goes through account after account of meticulously documented experiences, it becomes hard to avoid thinking along these lines.

Richard Dolan in conversation about abductions

On Saturday night, July 28th, I was a call in guest for one hour on Richard Dolan's audio program, called TRUTH OUT RADIO. We spoke together about UFOs, abductions and sychronicities. Our conversation is posted below.

In the final minutes the topic turned to Mac Tonnies, and i brought up the essays we both wrote about cats and how they are a metaphor fort the UFO contact experience. I added an 11 minute clip from a previous podcast where I put two essays side by side, mine and Mac's.

There is also another segment where Richard gives a scathing critique of MUFON. He said what I have been thinking, and it needs to be shared!

Richard Dolan calls out Nick Pope on his role in the UFO research community

Okay, first note that number, 1234. When ever I see that, I am compelled to PAY ATTENTION. I want to follow up with this video blogger known as PLANET under ATTACK, I sense something going on with this guy, nothing nefarious mind you, but synchronicity is forcing me to pay attention.. More after I dig a little bit.

The video in question (below) involves some info about Nick Pope, and a bit of extremely even-handed editorializing by Richard Dolan.

There is an audio excerpt played by the vlogger from Richard's new Saturday evening radio show on the GRA network. Nick recently got some coverage in the British tabloids by implying that we should all be aware that the upcoming London Olympics could be the site of an alien invasion. He said this in the role of a former MoD officer who was spent time on UFO reports during his government service. Here's a LINK to an article on the MAIL-online.

About Richard comments directed at Nick Pope. I listened to that show live while working at my desk, and I had pretty much the exact same reaction as the vlogger who crated this succinct little video. Sadly, the reaction involves vomiting.

Not metaphorically - LITERALLY!

The cave

Okay - this just happened and I haven’t made any attempt to process or interpret anything, but here goes...

I was up early this morning and my cabin was cold so I put on warm clothes. Sitting at my desk I had a funny feeling under my sweater, right near my left nipple, right at my heart level. It felt like electricity, like an intermittent vibration. I thought that a fly or a mosquito was under my shirt fluttering it's tiny wings against my skin. Like "bzzzzzzzz!"

I've never in my life felt anything like it, and I reached up under my sweater to see it there was something itchy caught inside my shirt. Nothing, but something was definitely odd.

Then, I sent a note (thru facebook) to a guy who I met at a UFO conference, and minutes later he replies to me in a phone call. We talk for almost two hours (imagine that).

At a certain point during the phone call he tells me one of his experiences, a scary story. He said he was alone in his bedroom and suddenly, everything shifts and he's was trapped in a cave. It's wet and the floor is lumpy and cold. He tells me the details and he insists it’s REAL and not a dream. There some sort of projected fear, and he feels that he's being tortured. The story culminates with a GIANT predator lizard confronting him with threats of death.

Okay, crazy story, easy to dismiss as a dream or delusion, right? BUT - for the five minutes while he tells me this cave story - the electric buzzing under my sweater is basically switched ON. The very real sensation stays on for the whole story, and switches off when he’s done.

This was intense, someone shares a fantastically strange experience - AND I FEEL IT AT A HEART LEVEL. Not metaphorically - LITERALLY!!!!

Hows that!

Also, this guy has a lot of profound UFO related stuff in his life, but he doesn’t have many scary stories, he’s had almost exclusively wonderful loving experiences, and he says he’s told almost nobody about the experience in the cave. He went on to speculate that he feels such bliss during meditation that maybe his nice vibes pissed off the big evil predator lizard.

Lemme try to better describe the electric buzzing sensation. It felt like a toy Barbie cell phone set on vibrate was set lightly on the skin of my left part of my chest.

No, that's not a publicity photo from ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, that's Bryce Zabel and Richard Dolan, co-authors of A.D. After Disclosure.

If you’ve found your way to this blog, you're probably quite aware of Richard Dolan. He is the author of two great big books, volumes one and two in a series, entitled UFOs and the National Security State. And very shortly there will be a third book on the shelves titled A.D. AFTER DISCLOSURE, The People’s Guide to Life After Contact.

Richard worked with co-author Bryce Zabel, and the content is a speculative look at what seems to be the inevitable event that will change everything, the admission by the big boys in power that, yes, the UFO phenominon is real. It's a bold undertaking to try and speculate about what the future will hold. But, they’ve created an impressive work that makes for a sort of road-map of challenges and hurdles.

Their website for A.D. features excerpts from the book, as well as a series of follow up essays. Rich also has a site called Keyhole Publishing, this serves as the homepage for his other two self published books on the history of the modern UFO age.

questions about disclosure

Before doing the audio interview with Richard Dolan I created a series of questions. As the list got longer, I realized that these were less directed at Rich, and instead a way for me to deal with the confusing issues that have arisen as I dig deeper into this subject. These questions were a way for me to help me wrap my mind around the elusive and ephemeral concepts.

I am so disappointed with this exo-political community that is pleading for Disclosure. I worry they have not adequately addressed some of the challenging issues that are implied in these questions. This document was created in a sort of flurry, it was simply a tool to help me deal with my personal exploration. Some stuff gets repeated, there are typos and it’s not really all that well thought out. But, the core content of the quandary as I see it is there.

I’ve shared these 17 questions (in no particular order) because I feel that that trying to articulate these elusive ideas is really important - at least to me.
