This is a wildy positive review. It's the kind of appraisal that any author might only dream of getting. That Nick has said these things leaves me deeply humbled. I am grateful and his glowing words will keep me pressing forward in times of uncertainty.
As Mike Clelland skilfully demonstrates, the UFO-owl issue is a real one. It’s not, however, an issue that can be explained in simple terms. The entire situation is multifaceted, requires an open mind to appreciate it, and is fascinating, uplifting, and disturbing in equal measures. This is a very important book on an enigma-filled topic that – finally – has the extensive treatment it deserves. And it may very well radically change your thoughts on the real nature of the UFO enigma. And also on what passes for reality itself.
I just found one of my podcasts posted on YouTube. Somebody put the interview I did with Nick Redfern on his FINAL EVENS book on that site, and it got a lot of hits.
I have been pondering whether I should also post my audio podcasts on YouTube. I know full well that doing this would dramatically increase the number of listeners. But at the same time, I worry that this would increase the number of weirdos and trolls to my site. I'm hesitant, but at the same time it might be a good idea.

In this book, Nick delves deep into the mysterious world of these mysterious operatives. He attempts uncover their origins and discusses classic cases, present day cases, previously unknown reports, secret government files, and the many theories that have been presented to explain this elusive mystery.
The acronym ETH stands for Extra Terrestrial Hypothesis, and it's long been the mainstay of how we look at the UFO phenomenon. The easy way to wrap your head around the whole flying saucer thing is to simply declare that this mystery has it's home in outer space. But, there is something much more bizarre going on here, and the ETH falls apart if you really look at it. As Nick says, it's not just that it's weird, it's TOO weird.

Nick is the author of a long list of books on the paranormal (way too long to list here) and during our conversation I worked to get any insights he may have synthesized from his years of research. The results are far-reaching and engaging.
The topics include the limitations of the ETH, abduction research, synchronicities, Bigfoot, the internet as a sentient consciousness, Mac Tonnies, Hammer Films and Johnny Ramone.

The book deals with a curious think tank within the Intelligence community initially created to look into the UFO phenomenon. After year of covert research with access to top secret government files, the people involved in the research reached a conclusion that those pesky UFOs are not piloted by aliens from another planet, they are instead demonic entities that are here to somehow consume our souls. These zealots proclaim that there is an immediate need to establish an authoritarian Christian surveillance state.
The book is subtitled: The Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife.
Nick makes good use of the interview by carefully backing up this extremely bizarre premise. Fundamentalism, occult rituals, Aleister Crowley, heavy-handed demonic deception and plans for global control all collide together during this audio conversation.
I was spellbound listening to Nick weave together the divergent threads of this incredibly strange story. Because of the intensity of the ongoing narrative, I was (mostly) pretty quiet.
