UFO abduction and YouTube

In Search Of
Original air date 9/14/1978

UFO Captives - This episode follows a series of people who tell of alien abduction. Dr. Leo Sprinkle shows up in this episode. I am impressed at this report and investigation, especially for the late 1970's.

The internet can be a bottomless pit of low quality videos. That said, there are some real gems in among the sensationalistic. I have listed and linked a series of highly recommended documentaries and archived excerpts.

The UFO Incident - (1975 - full movie) The story of Betty & Barney Hill Abduction staring James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons

Intruders - (1992 - full movie) Made for TV movie based on Budd Hopkin's book of the same name. Richard Crena plays a melding of both Budd Hopkins and Dr. John Mack.

It has Begun - (1974 - full documentary) Rod Serling narrates this impressive film.

Mysteries of the Gods - (1977 - full documentary) William Shatner plays is straight in this even -keeled documentary.

John Mack and Budd Hopkins - A public forum where these two researchers share their icdeas and differing conclutions.

UFOs The Secret History - An excellent documentary featuring Budd Hopkins, David Jacobs, Jerome Clark and a long list of other researchers and experiencers.

Experiencers - A documentary about Alien Abductions featuring research from Dr. John Mack Harvard Psychologist. Sadly. Dr. Mack appears only briefly in this film, his death having occurred soon after production began. One segment involves a New England couple with abduction experiences who videotaped an unidentified flying object hovering above a lake a few hours before they were interviewed.

Touched - ET Encounters - documentary featuring Dr. John Mack

The Chris Bledsoe Case - A good documentary on a single case of alien abduction. In Fayetteville, NC on January 8, 2007, a father and young adult son, both named Chris Bledsoe (Sr. and Jr.) experience something unusual. The father says he lost a couple hours of time and tells of seeing a small humanoid entity.

Jordan Maxwell and Michael Linderman interviewed about the UFO phenomenon.

Tom Snyder interviewing J. Allen Hynek and Peter Gersten from the early 1980's

Intruders - Abductees Speak Out! Canadian documentary directed by Michael MacDonald, a close friend of Mac Tonnies.

Dr. John Mack on Oprah. Highly recommended

Budd Hopkins Interview on Alien Abductions (1997)

Budd Hopkins talks with Don Ecker in the late 1980's.

Budd on Unsolved Mysteries in an episode titled Missing Time.

English family tells of abduction in this BBC documentary.

John Mack featured in this documentary started before his death.

Budd featured in this documentary with an emphasis on witnesses telling their stories.

James Earl Jones's performance as Barney Hill was PHENOMENAL. The scene of his regression is the best thing of that movie.

The last line of his monologue --"Isn't that funny, finding God inside a UFO?"-- has made a lasting impression in my life.

Couldn't have come at a better time! My wife and I were just bemoaning not having anything to watch, and being tired of sifting through the YouTube maze. I'm nursing a nasty cold and stuck in the house...thanks!
