a voice shaking with emotional intensity

Recommended audio interview from November 2011. Radio host Rene Barnett talks abduction researcher Yvonne Smith and an abductee named John who shares some of his experiences. I was particularly impressed with John's emotional intensity as he spoke about some of the events in his life.

He cautiously described a frightening missing-time event in eastern Idaho, and from some of the details, I have to assume it was very near my home.

It was hard hearing that interview. He's obviously suffered something during his life that's brought a lot of emotional trauma, even though he seems to have entered a phase of acceptance —or resignation, at least.

The other comments made during the interview didn't do much help either —"Oh, I wonder if the president was abducted during that weekend!" Sheesh...

The event he was so shaky about happened in the mid 70's - nearly 40 years ago.

I thought this was a strong insight into the abduction experience. The part that nobody wants to address.

Here's a guy - who must be close to 60 years old, nearly breaking down as he tries to describe calling his mom and dad from a pay-phone in rural idaho.

Something profound took place, and it is still emaotionally "hot" for this poor guy.

I totally agree. He sounded completely sincere.

I wished you could find a way to contact him.
