conversation with Regan Lee

It's not easy to sum up Regan Lee, so a proper introduction is tricky. She has a lifetime of experiences that defy any simple category.

Regan has been using her skills as a writer to share and explore her experiences. And calling her prolific is sort of an understatement. She has (at last count) upwards of fifteen blogs! Her expertise includes (but not limited to) Women of Esoterica, Painting, Bigfoot, mythology, Contactees, ghosts, hauntings and UFO's. She has a degree in Folklore Studies and Language Arts.

I avoid the term interview because this is much more accurately a conversation, and lemme say that we have a really great one! We cover a lot, and she is full of insights that were downright impressive.

After I recorded our talk and we hung up, I immediately sent Regan an email stating: "Should I pay you for playing the role of my therapist?"

It's funny, we have so much in common (and some of it is downright weird) that I felt like I this was some sort of psychiatric session where I was trying to figure out what it all means. I'm not sure we come up with any good answers, but there was never a dull moment.

Her main blog (the best place to begin) is THE ORANGE ORB. Search out the other 14 blogs from this starting point.

Another good one is SAUCER SIGHTINGS, lots of personal experiences and dreams. And for Bigfoot info, FRAME 352.

You can also find her ongoing column THE TRICKSTER'S REALM at Binnall of America.

I just re listened to the entire interview.

Whew - I talk too much. I'm not kidding about it feeling like a session with therapist!

A very enjoyable mano a mano between you, & the High Priestess of esoteric blogging ;)

PS: Right at the beginning you mentioned that this interview was going to be uploaded in March. What made you change your mind?

RPJ:

I'm don't think I said the blog was gunna be "uploaded in March"

I may have said SOON.

Also - I'm glad you enjoyed it...

Um... well, hearing back at the audio, right before 5:40, you say "this is coming up in March". Perhaps I'm mistaken.

Yes - I do say that.

But - I was saying that: "this is being recorded in janurary, and coming up in march - the blog will be a year old."

I was listening to your and Regan's delightful conversation while checking out the links on her Orange Orb site. As I pulled up The Anomalist I started clicking on the various links. (Discovered some new great ones, BTW.)

Imagine my surprise when I got to Chris Holly's Paranormal World entry for Jan 17 and the picture was almost identical to your aliens-at-the-window experience that you had just relayed to Regan!

OMG! Right now you are describing the 3 times you've been hypnotized and I just read "initial hypnotic regression work" on the Phantoms and Monsters blog and 2 paragraphs below is: "Psychologist R. Leo Sprinkle of Wyoming, had also been involved in hypnotic regression work..."!! And I'd never heard of Leo Sprinkle before you just mentioned him!

Synchronicities abounding! What fun! ;-)

Well the tape just ended and I just want to reiterate how wonderful the conversation was and thank you so much again for sharing. Thank you Regan (if you're reading this!)

Interesting story about the large bird flying at Regan's windshield. A VERY similar thing happened to me during a jeep camping trip in the southwest years ago. I was driving north from New Mexico into Colorado when an eagle dove down in front of my vehicle. I was stunned to see such a beautiful (and huge!) bird come right at me like that. My focus on this camping trip was to visit various ancient native american sites (anasazi). Eerie how similar this is to Regan's story. I also had the sense that it was communicating something to me.

Kartott - This is SO weird, because two nights ago I had a dream where a bird flew past my windshield as I was driving.

I may make it a post...

It was SO strange. Hummingbird (the smallest bird) and a beautiful yellow eyed OWL ended up INSIDE the moving car!

thanks,
Mike C!

Hummingbirds are very interesting. There's the link between humming & buzzing sounds and certain 'paranormal' phenomena; and also the folkloric relevance of hummingbirds among certain ancient cultures.

Take Huitzilopochtli, the god of war of the Aztecs. His name means 'left-armed humming bird'. He was also the sun god, and the legend states that he was the one who lead the people to the place where the city of Tenochtitlan was founded.

I just noticed that on the Jan 26 entry of The Anomalist that this conversation is noted and the link provided. Have you noticed more activity this week?

I know this entry is several years old, but I felt the need to comment. I wonder why orange and green light is so often associated with UFO sightings. Maybe there is something about those parts of the spectrum that are necessary for manifesting in our dimension?
