THE SECRET SUN audio podcast features me in conversation with Chris Knowles

Christopher Knowles from THE SECRET SUN has an audio interview with me on his podcast series. We speak for over an hour, and the conversation digs into my first hand experiences and the overlapping phenomena that seems intertwined. I've been interviewed before, and this was a really a really good session.

Chris is a deep thinker who is wrestling with the big questions, and he forces me to dig deeper than anyone else. I always get a lot from talking with this guy, and I'm sure you'll feel the same. I am challenged by the implications of my experiences, it just plain freaks me out. But, Chris is capable of tying in an overriding visionary aspect to this mystery. It really helps me when he forces me to re-frame this quandary from this higher reference point. I'm better able to grapple with my own deep questions with Christopher's insights.

We talk about a series of curious life events, including:

I speak about a lot of stuff that I've shared in this blog, each of these essays have photos and illustrations that might help the listener. And each of these posts are loaded with links to other equally relevant stories and images.

Only because it's you guys that I'll comply and sign up for this atrocity named 4share.

...And because if I don't sign up I can't download the file, or listen to it directly :-/

Good interview. A nice synopsis of your journey and the blog.

I particularly liked the idea that synchronicities gain more power when they are openly shared and expressed. I might even suspect that the Internet functions as a sort of 'resonator' for these kind of experiences, since in my personal life synchronicities received quite a boost when I became an active member of the Fortean bloggosphere :)

You stole my thunder RPJ,
I was going to express the same opinion. While I find the alien abduction stuff interesting,I'm way more interested in the synchronistic journey of Mike's.
Same goes for Chris Knowles and his blog. There is something that compels me to keep in touch with both blogs and it's not because of the UFO and comic stuff...I guess the same goes for Whitley and his site, too.
I have the feeling something is developing in all of these blogs, but the journey has a long way to go yet.
It's like putting a few pieces of a jig-saw together and sensing that there is more than just random pieces fitting together...there seems to be a complete picture forming...but what is it???

It's like all these blogs are virtual chakras, the Net is Kundalini, and when synchronicities are triggered it's a sign that Kundalini is awakening... and ascending ;)

more to come later - i've had a take on your owls experience with Kristen that was very obvious to me from the first time i heard it, mostly given the inner nature of owl medicine i learned about from people trained in north american native traditions. with every re-telling it seems to still be relevant, but i'm too busy to type!

i've not seen that illus before, it's wonderful. it also perfectly illustrates (with a couple less 'aliens') a story told to me by the jeweler who last switched out the strap and battery on my watch. Only he was a boy (3 or 6?) in south america. But figures, big eyes staring at him thru window, huge light, falling right to sleep.

the stegosaur makes me think of this, tho:

Terrific interview Mike!

I appreciate the thoughtful questions that Christopher asked you. And your answers were careful - I like how you never try to inject some meaning or assumption into an incident - you simply and thoughtfully tell it like it is. And, that's not easy to do especially when some of the memories are from childhood.

For whatever reason that coffee-can ufo really spooked me when I took a look at your rendering. I hadn't noticed it before (maybe hadn't read the entry back in '09).

Good stuff so far, really enjoying this over the last week. Almost finished the interview. Glad Chris is still doing his show, love these.

Thanks for sharing Mike. I got a video coming soon about my "Alien" experience and this and your Brad Steiger interview you posted really helped pry it loose for me to share.

Thanks Mike
