UFOs Reframing the Debate, edited by Robbie Graham

An important new book, available now
Available now in paperback on Amazon and Kindle!
“Robbie Graham's UFO anthology reframes the UFO from facile tabloid fare into its real challenge—how to interpret strange experiences offering hints of an Underlying Fundamental Ontology. To tackle such a difficult and at times bewildering task, a deep multidisciplinary dive is required. And that's exactly what you'll find in this thoughtful and stimulating book.”

      —Dean Radin, Ph.D.
Chief Scientist, Institute of Noetic Sciences
      Author of Supernormal

“Robbie Graham has assembled a set of essays with very subversive insights into the nature of UFO phenomena. If you intend to seriously study UFOs, you must read this book.”

     —George P. Hansen
Author of The Trickster and the Paranormal

I am immensely proud to be a part of this important work. I wrote a whole chapter and I only mentioned owls once!

What did you write about Mike ?
Thanks for telling us about the book. Next on my non fiction agenda !

PS. Hope that typo in your name wasn't in the book !

It is now available on Kindle. I just got it.

I will attempt to save Mike the trouble of responding to the question concerning what he wrote about. Since Mike noted that he only mentioned owls once, Bright Garlick is understandably concerned about what Mike discussed in Robbie Graham's new book.

A brief skim gave me the impression that Mike emphasized that we must look beyond the extraterrestrial hypothesis to understand this subject. For example:
"There are aspects of this phenomenon that challenge everything. The web of little strings seems to go everywhere."

Although Mike mentioned owls only once, I have already detected one use of the word "tidy", so Mike's regular fans should feel right at home with this.

Thanks John - no concern on my part and will begin reading it myself tonight !

Mike, have you ever considered having your interviews transcribed into a book ? It would make an interesting book ! I'm looking at doing that on my monologues and was thinking that your podcast would make an excellent addition to your Owl Book(s) ! Just a thought ! Keep up the great work !
Happy Summer ! Bright.

Anyone who cites a (“classic” to quote Robbie Graham) 1970’s study by Donald Warren as the reason people witness or report UFOs really needs to have their head examined. Really? You’re going to put stock in Robbie Graham when he quotes someone who proposes that marginal status persons, as a result of their feelings of alienation and distrust of the system, believe flying saucers represent extraterrestrial craft due to a rejection of society’s dominant values? [citations 24-25 in his book]

For his “study” David Warren relegated all BLACK MEN and WOMEN to the status inconsistent - marginal category. Get it? Black men and women are marginal human beings. (!?) Very strange that you’re all up in arms over Ventura’s Facebook post yet your totally okay with the latest ufology’s-dead-again-messiah Robbie Graham putting stock in Donald Warren’s racist, debunking “Status Inconsistency Theory and Flying Saucer Sightings.”
