Peter Maxwell Slattery and owls

Peter Maxwell Slattery is a young outspoken contactee from Australia. I was the 10th guest on his show back in 2013, and now we are speaking together again here on episode 152.

He has an amazing owl story starting at the 14:00 time count. This happened a few days before I contacted him. My reason for calling him was entirely selfish on my end, I wanted to promote the owl book

One question that any researcher will ask someone with a history of contact events is, “Do you feel a sense of mission.” Just looking at Peter’s site and recent history, it’s obvious that he’s on fire with this sense of mission.

It's always wonderful talking to Greg, he has a way of peering into these mysteries that forces me to contemplates the deeper aspects of the overall weirdness. We spent an hour on Sunday night wallowing through the strange stuff, including a lot of talk about owls.

Also, this interview took place right after me interviewing James Carman, so I felt a little bit talked out, but I think that actually helped. I didn't have the energy to play the role of a formal interviewee.

interview with Alejandro Rojas

Over the weekend I spoke with Alejandro Rojas for his podcast series UFO THINK TANK. This was a one-hour conversation where I shared some of my experiences with a focus on how they seem intertwined with synchronicities.

I've met Alejandro a handful of times over the years at the annual Open Minds conference. We spoke at length for the first time on the phone last month, and we got to compare notes in our research. He was the media spokesman for MUFON, and he also worked for OPEN MINDS magazine and radio. He is a contributor to The Huffington Post writing articles about UFOs. He also runs the website UFO Daily News.

In this interview I shared a set of events that I've told before, and I came very close to declaring that I am a UFO abductee, but I held back because (as I've said before) it just didn't feel honest. This has been a source of anxiety for me, this NOT knowing. I feel like my experiences certainly point to this as a source, but I am just not certain.

Chris is a deep thinker who is wrestling with the big questions, and he forces me to dig deeper than anyone else. I always get a lot from talking with this guy, and I'm sure you'll feel the same. I am challenged by the implications of my experiences, it just plain freaks me out. But, Chris is capable of tying in an overriding visionary aspect to this mystery. It really helps me when he forces me to re-frame this quandary from this higher reference point. I'm better able to grapple with my own deep questions with Christopher's insights.

audio interview with Trice Sheridan

Last night I did an audio interview with a Trice Sheridan, she is a researcher and director for ICAR. I had met Trice at a series of UFO conferences, and I found her to be wonderfully thoughtful and dedicated to her research. We've corresponded a little over the years, and it was me who suggested to her that I be a guest on her audio show, something I don't normally do.

Before the show, I sent her a few links to some of my blog postings and interviews, and she dug into this stuff in a way that left me impressed.

Oh those numbers!

I made a copy of the audio interview using my skype recorder, and the number 123 curiously shows up again. I am continuously struck by how this number appears on my computer in relation to my on-going paranormal work. I have searched for this number in my files in relation to mundane documents and it just doesn't seem to happen. The 123 thing seems to want to cluster around UFO's and owls.

Radio Mysterioso interview

Greg Bishop just posted an interview we did on March 7th of 2010, it's on his RADIO MYSERIOSO site.

My memory of those two hours were a blur, but I did remember that at the end Greg thanked me and said: "This was one of the most fun interviews I've done in a long while."

We started out with a report from and commentary on the Laughlin UFO conference. I had just returned from the 2010 meeting with a mixed bag of impressions and memories. While at the conference, I attended an abductee support meeting, which gets described in detail.

We also spoke about conversations with our late friend Mac Tonnies. His analogy of a cat chasing a laser pointer and the comparison of humans seeing UFOs occupied us for a good while. This led to a conversation about Mac’s last book The Cryptoterrestrials and how it might affect UFO research.

We went on to talk about the experience of the paranormal and how it changes lives.

I did a two-hour audio interviw on the Stench-of-Truth podcast. The host was Ted Torbich, (seen at the left) and we covered an awful lot during our time. I spoke about a few of my own experiences, and also some of the curious stories I've heard as I venture along this path of self exploration.

conversation with Anne Strieber

There is a new audio interview on Whitley Strieber's DREAMLAND (with me), it's posted in the subscriber's section, dated 1/30/2010. I talk with Anne Strieber, Whitley's wife, for about 40 minutes.

I have been going to UFO conferences over the last few years, and I had the chance to talk with Anne at an event in Joshua Tree California in October of last year. We sat together for a short time, and I shared some of my experiences, and she had a lot of insights.

After the publication of COMMUNION in 1987, the Strieber's received over half a million letters where people would share their experiences. Anne claims to have read thru all of them, and in doing so, she has become a sort of data base for the extremely bizarre details that get reported by witnesses.

Also, early in the interview I mistakenly say 1973 when talking about the Orange Flash event, I should have said 1974.

Shortly there after I say that I received an email from Whitley where he says he is following my blog, I made a mistake, that email was in reference to following my twitter account. He did send me a note about my blog, but it was a different day. Sorry about that, I was nervous at the beginning, and I made some mistakes.
