This is fascinating to me, and I see it as a big shift. A decade ago, an abductee with a story to tell would have needed to publish a book. And that would mean time and money - an editor and a publisher. It might take several years to write it and eventually get it on a shelf. And if it doesn't end up in a book store near me, I might never hear of it, let alone read it.
present day experiential blogging
I have read posts where people will tell of abduction experiences THE NIGHT BEFORE! Do you realize how extraordinary that is? Technology has streamlined this kind of communication and it has the potential to revise our collective understanding of these elusive experiences. The list below is in alphabetical order.
Some of these sites will focus exclusivly on documenting their personal experiences, and other’s will just occasionally add a story that indicates some sort of strange contact events. Others will just have a lone link where they share of curious UFO sightings. 47 such sites are listed below.

Over the last few years, I've been amazed at these on-line blogs and web-sites, and I've tried to document them. If anyone out there can direct me to more of them, please let me know! They are all listed with the label fellow bloggers. I've also included a link to anyone I've interviewed on this list.

Thanks for the links. It looks as if Mitchell took his blog down, though.

Again??
Good list, Mike.
You know, I wonder if this blogging trend between experiencers --or alleged experiencers since we have to consider the possibility that a few of them might be people who just want attention, or who are deluded-- is similar in non-English countries as well; as good as the list is, it's just too small a sample.
I know of a guy in England named
Ellis C Taylor who claims to have been abducted.
You can read his stories here;

I don't vouch for the truth in any of these blogs, I am more fascinated by the pattern.
And - LUMINOSITY goes down sometimes. Dan, the author, will get overwhelmed and it disappears for a while. Hopefully we see it back again soon.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm bored as well with playing 'detective' with all these stories, asking every time "is this real or is it bull crap?". Jason said it well in the interview when stating focusing on that alone deprives you of finding something of true worth.
And yes, the best is when you find something that seems to correlate with another story you heard somewhere else. That's when the fun begins in trying to catch that damn Waldo ;)
Hey Mike - thanks for including my blog in the list.
I agree - it is amazing how things have changed. It's a bit like "coming out" - now that there are a few more voices, I think more people will begin to drop their fear and start to realize (like yourself) that their stories matter. And what better way to do it than in real time without any middle man !
Thanks for the list. Now I can read about others and see if I have anything in common. That's gotta be a good thing ! In days to come - bloggers of this nature will be the most valuable source of information for those doing serious abduction/experiencer/alien/ET research and those who want to make the evolution of this movement.
This is disclosure in action ! And while not all of what's been blogged is legit, some of it is and that in itself makes this type of blog "phenomenon" worth watching !
Thanks for a great post !
PS. Happy to do an interview - if you ever want an ALTERNATIVE point of view on the ET subject !
Cheers, Bright ;-)
Disclosure in action.
I dig it :)
I am trying to make information available. I have had my own set of experiences that I find very challenging to integrate into my life. But, whatever is happening - I have felt a VERY strong pull to share what has happened and to explore what it might mean.
I have no answers, only questions.
I want to make sure that the dialog is kept at a very high level, I don't try to entertain, and I don't try to educate. I am more concerned with exploring the UFO abduction phenomenon. I want to be careful NOT to exclude any information just because it might seem too "out there" or it may not fit my direct experience.
And - I want to create a site where people who are experiencing similar events to my own can find information and a respectful tone.
I guess what I am trying to do is to bring the awareness *UP* to meet the reality as I perceive it. I want to raise the collective consciousness, at least a little, with my blog.
I am less concerned about forcing the people in power to come clean with their lies. I look at that, and I just feel like it's too overwhelming.
What I like to think about is the way birds in a flock can all turn in an instant. They are all traveling one way a s group, and then suddenly they are all flying in a different direction. Scientists have studied slow motion film of birds in this kind of flight, and what is revealed is that one bird turns, then two, then more, and when they reach a certain percentage - EVERY bird changes instantly. It happens fast.
I feel that if we change, one by one, there should come a day when EVERYTHING changes, and it could happen fast.
The liars and criminals in power won't need to stand at a podium and confess their wrong-doings - they will simply become irrelevant.
Maybe that is overly pie-in-the-sky hopeful, but it's the only way I can proceed forward with out it feeling futile.
Mike C!
Rest assured Mike, that if we non-experiencers can help you guys bring about this migratory change, we will :)

Whilst I don't consider myself an experiencer of the UFO abduction phenomenon (but who knows?)I do find Mike's blog fascinating reading because he seems to not only be investigating the UFO abduction phenomenon, but also what lies beyond UFO abduction phenomenon, which ultimately is the collective unconscious, which is what really intrigues me,having already had an OBE at around 11 years of age, which changed the way I looked at reality from then on.
My fascination with life is what is consciousness all about in it's many levels?
Humans, aliens, dogs, cats, birds, etc are all conscious on some level, and at some level that consciousness overlaps in all beings...that's what fascinates me...and reading between the lines seems to be what fascinates most readers of this blog,
experiencers and non-experiencers alike.
I've been having a lot of bird syncs lately,so I was amused with Mike using the
"birds in a flock can all turn in an instant" analogy.
It reminds me of one of my favourite docos called "I am"
by Tom Shadyac, where he uses this exact analogy in the film showing flocks of birds changing direction in flight.
http://www.iamthedoc.com/
I highly recommend viewing this film, and by the looks of it at his website,so does Whitley Strieber.
Maybe an audio conversation with Tom Shadyac about his film would be interesting,too?-)
another blog for consideration, not sure if you've already posted this blog yet so sorry for the inconvenience if you have...

Does UFO truth seekers have a site? Or contact info?
Just a word of warning - Zeta Talk is not a good blog. I am aware that she has blatantly stolen material, faked parts and mixed half-truths with outrageous assumptions. You need only look at her obsession with this returning planet that's supposed to bring destruction etc and how many dubious statements have been made about its return 'just around the corner'. It's been going on for over a decade now without any evidence to support it.
