podcast 42 Minutes

The Lorenz system
This image represents a system of ordinary differential equations, first studied by Edward Lorenz. It is notable for having chaotic solutions for certain parameter values and initial conditions.

Yesterday I spoke with Will Morgan and Douglas Bolles at the synchronicity focused podcast 42 Minutes. We spoke about a divers set of topics, including the Lorenz Attractor, the image show above. We also dug into Chaos, Synchronicity, Owls, UFOs, Grey Alien, Mind Control, Messenger, Dream Analysis, Queen Of The Night, Shamanic Awakenings and the Spiritual Path.

A recommended discussion.

  1. This concept of strange attractors & synchronicity reminded me of this FANTASTIC video with Dean Radin. I highly recommend it:

  2. Hi Mike,
Where (I assume it's a film?) is the audio sample at the beginning of the interview from?
    Thanks!

  4. It's Twin Peaks. I googled an excerpt of the dialogue.

  5. Hi!
Many thanks, very interesting, as always.

When I looked at the Lorenz attractor I could see owl, and "classic alien" eyes, of course, but thought also, --- cat.

Googled "cat owl" and some pretty funny images came up of cats and owls that resemble each other. (Love the big fluffy white owl and white long-haired cat.) Also seems that photo-shopping cat heads onto owl bodies is a meme in China right now.

Interesting mash-up, since their mythology and symbolism overlap in ways, and they even mirror each other in how they sit, cats on their haunches and owls so still, on a post or limb.

A few days later, on a Sat. afternoon, was walking through a plaza having tables set up with with art for sale. One had carved and painted wooden statues - all cats on one side, all owls on the other. All different, but only cats and owls on the table.

What a hoot, what a howl!
    Meowlowlowl:)

Will have to give it more thought in assoc. with Lorenz attractor. Also thinking maybe sphinx and snake could tie in. I.e., the hooded cobras that sway rhythmically to sitar. And wolf, for obvious reasons .. Manner of sitting, triangular faces, spooky eyes, shaggy eyebrowls, letters in name.

Hood ... Shroud ... Virgin Mary ... Guarden of Eden ... Evenadam... feminine, dark, mysterious, womb. Queen of the Night.

  6. re:http://youtu.be/Iqmba7npY8g

There´s something very non-trivial and truly moving -archetypically so, if you like- about animals of very different species being best buddies.
The lamb and lion shall lie down together etc.

  7. And, oh, doesn´t the Lorenz figure look kind of like a tweaked moebius-strip? Whatever significance or not that would have.
