Hugo Weaving - One of the greatest character actors of this generation. From the "Matrix" to "Lord of the Rings" to "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" to "V for Vendetta." He's a world treasure. Brilliant and under appreciated!
I only stumbled onto your blog by chance as I have been visited by 2 separate owls who now take up post just outside my bedroom window every night. Looking for a possible meaning in this I discovered your blog on your own owl experience. After reading the post I backtracked to your home page and saw this post, since I am currently watching the Matrix on AMC cable television on the east coast of the US as I write this, let me know how spooky/creepy is it that I played this clip for the first time just now as the actual scene from the movie where they have Morpheus tied up is playing on the TV. strange coincidence or just the world harmonizing? I follow the numbers, and the numbers never lie
I have the "Cosmos" TV series and all of the "Matrix" films on DVD and feel that both of these productions were divinely inspired. It's great to see a clip like this merging the two. Poetry in motion.
