audio conversation with Mel Faregas

fellow podcaster

Me Fabregas hosts an on-line audio interview series called VERITASIn Latin Veritas means Truth. I follow this show for a number of reasons, one being that it is really nicely produced with excellent audio quality; alas, this is sadly lacking in our podcasting realm.

two hours and four minutes long

Here is an excerpt from Mel’s site where he explains a little about VERITAS and himself:
I am going to borrow this quote from Jordan Maxwell. "I am an ordinary man pursuing extraordinary knowledge." That basically sums it up. Most of my expertise is in international business and geopolitics. And I know enough from other subjects but can’t claim to be an expert. That is why I created this show: To find the experts and ask those questions that can help us get closer and closer to the truth.
Here are a few more places to hear Mel sharing his story. He posted a half-hour long recording, just his voice, on the “about” page of his site. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to hear a tidy re-telling of some of his life experiences, linked HERE.

Another good interview with Mel is on the Super Woo site, hosted by George Kavassilas, linked HERE.

If I had of listened to my rational mind then I probably would have passed on this interview.
I thought here's a guy just cashing in with a radio show on UFOs and high strangeness to make a buck.
But the inner voice kept pestering me to have a listen. So I did and I was blown away by this one.
He could have been describing my life...except I have no inclination to start a radio show.
Just like Mel,it was about 2004 that I realized something didn't add up right and my pursuit of the truth cost me some family and friends as well.
I really felt Mel to be a kindred spirit while listening to this pod-cast,so much so that I just ordered season 1 from his store.
This guy is a man on an important mission and I say God speed Mel.
Needless to say that you are too,Mike.

Yes - I am struck by Mel's history, and how it lead up to his present role as someone interviewing UFO researchers and experiencers.

It is also curious that he tells of having his body scanned with a metal detecter at a UFO conference, and how there were anomalous signals found in his head! (similar to me)

I remember reading Communion years ago, finding a sore, pimply sort of bump in my hair very near my ear, something Whitley described in the book. Two friends described the same sort of bump and with each of us, the bump disappeared within a day or two. I am so tempted to buy a stud finder after hearing this interview!

I took some comfort in Mel's psyche ability having appeared before he ever saw a ufo. I don't have any memory indicating abduction, ever. But I did have an AHA! moment, nothing ufo related, that brought psyche experiences into my life, as well as the eventual ufo sightings. I found in Mel someone I could relate to very easily.

Now if I could just find someone who has seen a very NASA-esque white bullet flying through the sky like my spouse and I once saw, I'd feel even better.

Very good interview, Mike. The pericarditis episodes are downright disturbing, however.

I meant "psychic" instead of "psyche." Wonder what that slip means!

Attn - Anonymous,

Don't get a stud finder yet, it is a very specific model, it has a way to calibrate. I contacted my friend Steve, and I'll get back to you when I know the model.

Peace,
Mike C

Thanks, Mike. I appreciate it. (Thought you guys mentioned it was a "Stanley", but I'll wait on the info.

After Daz's comment, I'll be back to listen to this audio. You uncover some fascinting stuff, Mike.

Y'all can stop waiting for that documentary the Mexican government was allegedly going to release by the end of the year. The chances that it will ever see the light of day —or that it was shot in the first place!— are close to zero.

Basically, one of the many idiots in the government was hoodwinked by a clever conman. A man who makes himself pass as Raul Julia's son.

"There's Left-Wing, there's Right-Wing, and then there's Kno-Wing".

Nice! :)

And emotionally, I agree. Although at the same time I worry that of the field's drive to distance itself from current (or petty) events.

What's better? To try to elicit some type of minuscule change within the system, or just wait that the system crumbles altogether?

Re:
"Kno-Wing"
I just ordered the movie of that name yesterday as a blogging friend and I were discussing a series of syncs involving Bredan Cowell, the ex-boyfriend of Rose Byrne, the actress out of "Knowing".
It was on special for $9.99.I wanted to buy it months ago,but didn't want to pay $30 for it.

Weird !?!

I've always wanted to see that movie, but I haven't managed to.

Make it happen, Universe! ;)

I saw it about a year ago.
It is a good movie, and most of it was shot in Australia.
Alex Proyas was the director of "Knowing". He also made - "The Crow", "Dark City",and"I, Robot"
all favourites of mine.
Alex and I share the same birth-date
(23 September...this Sunday) although he is one year older than me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Proyas

He is now working on a film called "The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag",which according to this site -

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2357433/

"The book that served as the basis for this movie was also the inspiration for Alex Proyas' sophomore film Dark City "

"A man, who suddenly realizes that he has no memory of what he does during the day, hires a husband and wife detective agency to follow him. The truth takes a dark turn as their investigation leads to a series of frightening revelations".

Sounds interesting to me.

Red Pill Junkie said...

Yeah, except for I, Robot —why do androids have to look like a god-damned iMac??— I really like Proyas' filmography

Brizdaz (Darren) said...

Alex Proyas is also working on a movie called "Sydney Unplugged"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1978538/

which I find amusing as SYDNEY just happens to be my middle name,as is my father's middle name as well.

Some of the other directors are -
Toni Collette
Russell Crowe
John Curran
Kieran Darcy-Smith
Anthony LaPaglia
Ray Lawrence
Alex Proyas
Liev Schreiber
Ivan Sen

...and anyone following my blog would know just how synchronistic most of those directors are are to my own life syncs.

Wow! Great interview with Mel!! I enjoyed your interview with Joe Montaldo on UFO Undercover too - that's how I found your blog.

Nice to see someone who has a connection with owls - the owl is so demonized by many in the truth movement. The owl is my aumakua too. Aloha, Jane

I am also wondering about what stud finder was used for the body scanning.. I have one and out of curiosity I tried it on myself, and no matter where I place it on my body it starts beeping. I tried it on cats and it does the same thing.. seems that bone density sets it off

The "Knowing" DVD that I wrote about above and Mel's season 1 of Veritas both arrived in the same mail delivery today.I don't know why the Knowing DVD took so long to get to me,there must of been some stock delay or something. Also when I was waiting in line at the post office I saw an owl card starring back at me,so I purchased it,and it is now sitting on my desk.
I'll have to do a post on it to show you this card,I think that you would like it Mike.
Anyway I'm plugging in the Veritas memory stick to my computer to have a listen, and after that I'll be putting the knowing disc into my DVD player to have a watch.-)
